Two suspected drug dealers are due to appear in court this week after police seized 28 500 ecstasy tablets in Milnerton.
The drugs and processing equipment found in a shipping container have a combined value of R6.5 million, according to provincial police spokesman Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi.
The police seized the drugs after a bust at a Castle Street premises in the CBD where two men were arrested.
According to Warrant Officer Swartbooi, their interrogation led police to an address in Maitland, which, in turn, led them to the container in Milnerton.
