ALWAYS FACE EAST: Wilderness-lover Murray Williams captured the rise of the full moon on Sunday night - internationally known as the "Beaver Moon", as beavers start sheltering in their lodges for the winter in North America. But the Heritage Full Moons, developed in South Africa, titles the November rising as the Milk Moon, in honour of the KhoiKhoi first nation in the Western Cape, and their extensive dairy farming. Milk was also served as a gift to travellers. Murray's full moon was captured nestling east of Diepgat, surrounded by Triplet 3, Pisgah and Sneeukopnaald peaks.
