Steven Taylor who grew up in Bothasig and went to Bosmansdam High school has joined the on-air team at Magic828AM.
Steven has been involved in many community activities over the years, starting the De Tyger Leo Club in the area which is the junior division of Lions Club International. He was the founding president of the club, which is still active and is a way for teens in the area to make a difference.
Steven started on radio at the age of 15 while still in school, cutting his teeth at Bush Radio in 1999 co-hosting a show called Street Seeds with other teens. A few months later he was given his own show and since then has been with many other stations including UCT Radio, Hashtag Online Radio and RKPFM.
Joining the on-air line-up at Magic828AM is Steven’s break into commercial radio and he has been hosting the Saturday 9 to noon show since October 7.
