Police have arrested a 39-year-old man in Mthatha, in the Eastern Cape, for the murder of another man in Site 5 in July last year.

According to Table View SAPS spokeswoman Captain Adriana Chandler, the suspect allegedly stabbed 38-year-old Lulama Duna in a love-triangle row before fleeing and going into hiding. Mr Duna died on his way to hospital.

The investigating officer had travelled to Mthatha after learning the suspect might be hiding with relatives, said Captain Chandler.
