Police have arrested a 27-year-old man after uncovering a dagga-growing lab in Table View.
Acting on a tip-off, Table View police officers raided a house in Peach Tree Crescent, on Sunday.
When they searched the property, they found a fully equipped dagga-growing laboratory in the garage along with, dagga plants and bags and ten 20kg plastic containers of dagga, according to police spokesperson Ndake Gwala.
Police seized the equipment, including a device used to extract cannabis oil, as well as all the plants and bags and containers full of dagga.
The occupant of the house was arrested on charges related to dealing and cultivation of an illegal substance.
