Vocal ensemble Belcanto Voce will be performing love songs, opera and jazz favourites at St Oswald’s Church in Milnerton on Thursday June 9, at 7.30pm. The concert is being held to raise funds for the installation of a new organ at the church.
A special drawcard is tenor James Bhemgee, the former street sweeper who won SA's Got Talent 2 in 2010 and caught the world's attention with his incredible voice and rags to riches story. He performs with the Cape Flats Tenors and has also performed with Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins and was part of Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra Tour of South Africa.
Guests will be able to meet the performers and enjoy a glass of wine in the hall after the performance.
