The City is resurfacing various roads in Bloubergrant until Friday December 9.
Bloubergrant motorists may experience some delays in the area, as the City started resurfacing roads there on Monday November 28.
The work is planned for weekdays only, from 7.30amto 5pm, to limit the impact on road users, but some work could be done on Saturdays, if needed, according to mayoral committee member for urban mobility Rob Quintas.
The affected roads are Dolphin Drive from Watsonia Road to Spray Road; Brander Avenue from Dolphin Drive to Crinum Road; Cowrie Close; Mossel Street from Dolphin Drive to Brander Avenue; Spray Road from Dolphin Road to Brander Avenue; and Seemeeu Street from Dolphin Road to Brander Avenue.
“We would like to resurface these portions of the road to provide residents in the area with a safe and smooth road surface,” said Mr Quintas.
Measures were in place to direct traffic during construction, which was expected to continue until Friday December 9, pending unforeseen delays and bad weather, he said.
