Spreading the sweetness of Easter

Some of Dunoon’s early childhood development (ECD) centres were in for a treat on Family Day, Monday April 10, when non-profit Ladles of Love spread the Easter joy at Dunoon community hall.

The children from Footsteps Educare, Nyhakallo Educare, Harare Kidz college; and an additional 200 children from the community enjoyed a game of tug-of-war, face painting and drawing competitions.

Thereafter, they received a hot meal and a goodie bag of Easter eggs.

The children joined in on a game of tug-of-war, with the help of volunteers.

Just over 200 Dunoon children were fed on the day.
