Milnerton police are investigating a double murder after a brother and sister, both in their 30s, were shot and killed in the early hours of Monday morning.
The two were both shot in the head at close range at a house in Kings Road, Brooklyn, according to provincial police spokesman Sergeant Wesley Twigg.
“The victims were declared dead by medical personnel,” said Sergeant Twigg.
No arrests have been made, and Sergeant Twigg said the motive for the killings was unclear.
Two residents who knew the victims both declined to comment, and a third resident was only prepared to say that tensions were high in the area following the killings.
