Bikers spread Easter cheer

It was a big Easter surprise for Oasis House residents in Kenwyn when members of the Motorcycle Association of the Cape Town chapter of the Memorable Order of Tin Hats (M.O.T.H) paid a special visit to the home when they came roaring into the grounds on gleaming Harley Davidsons and other super bikes to hand out donations of Easter eggs. Here Gary Renda hands over a chocolate marshmallow to Mandi Gravett.

Members of the Motorcycle Association of the Cape Town chapter of the Memorable Order Of Tin Hats (M.O.T.H), an organisation of ex-servicemen and women, including from Bloubergstrand and Brooklyn, visited the Chukker Road home of the Oasis Association for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities in Kenwyn on Sunday March 24, to bring some Easter cheer for the residents. Donations of eggs were made in the spirit of mutual help – one of the cornerstones of the M.O.T.H organisation.
