Women go on journey of self discovery

Mitchell’s Plain women thanked their facilitators for their support and enthusiasm in getting know themselves and how to better help others.

Mitchell’s Plain Network Opposing Abuse graduates Maggie Villet, Patricia Hendricks, Michelle Oosthuizen, Katriena Pienaar, Charmaine Davids, Amiena Adams and Cecilia Fritz received certificates of achievement at Beaconvale Community Frail Care Centre, in Beacon Valley on Wednesday August 21.

Their self-discovery course included modules on self-enhancement, trust, team building, assertiveness, conflict management, sex and sexuality, domestic violence, domestic violence, love languages, the river of life and goal setting.
