Gene Louw Primary School in Durbanville welcomed its 234 Grade 1 pupils on Tuesday, a day ahead of the official opening date, to give them a taste of what their first year at school will entail. Dressed in their new school uniforms, the pupils lined up along with their parents at 8am to get to know their teachers, classrooms and the playground better until 10am. Pictured is Caleb Sinandima.
