St Luke’s Combined Hospices hosted a donor appreciation tea at their head office in Kenilworth on Thursday March 27.
Scores of donors were honoured with certificates for their continued support for the non-profit organisation that provides palliative care for the elderly and frail care.
They have satellite community hospices in the West Coast, Athlone, Grassy Park, Fish Hoek and Mitchell’s Plain.
St Luke’s CEO Dr Ronita Mahilall expressed her gratitude to the donors. “Without the generosity of our donors, we could not do the work we do. This event is a small token of our appreciation.”
