Parklands College pupils win big

Parklands College pupils Reuben Rietoff and Mbali Nhuku, also known as the Cashflow Co-Pilots, emerged as national winners of the inaugural Coronation Top Investor Challenge: Schools Edition - earning R25 000 each in coronation unit trust vouchers and R50 000 for their school.

Working in teams, learners were given R1 million in virtual capital to build investment portfolios and respond to fictional market scenarios, sharpening their financial literacy, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. After weeks of trading and strategising, Parklands College emerged as the national winner.
