Some Curro Century City pupils participated in a national public speaking competition, Nou Praat Jy!, hosted by Curro Durbanville High School on Wednesday, June 25.
The competition formed part of Curro Durbanville’s Kultura Festival.
The contest required high school pupils to deliver their Afrikaans speeches in pairs, with a conversational and creative twist.
The winning teams received a total of R10,000 in cash to be split among them.
