IES Blouberg International School pupils smashed their canned food drive goal during August and early September, collecting a staggering 2 825 cans in support of local non-profit, Mothers That Care.
The school had initially set a 1 000-can target but more than doubled it, with donations filling the organisation’s minibus and two cars. Mothers That Care, which runs a soup kitchen and breadline, relies on community support to provide food, clothing, and essentials to families in need.
