Parklands College to world finals

Parklands College pupils made history at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Nationals in Pretoria on Saturday, September 13, when three teams secured their place among the world’s best.

The team names are TechnoBlade, HTDR, and HyperTech 2.0, TechnoBlade and HTDR shone in the “Mars Exploration” challenge, with TechnoBlade taking Junior gold in 72 seconds and HTDR silver plus a Singapore spot. HyperTech 2.0 swept Elementary with a flawless 155 points in 66 seconds.

The teams are set to represent South Africa at the international finals in Singapore from Wednesday, November 26, until Friday, September 28.
