Additional contributions of R500 each were made by the Paarl Lions Club and the Cape of Good Hope Lions Club, further boosting the funds raised.

Members from the Durbanville Lions Club and the Mitchells Plain Lions Club also joined the walk in a show of solidarity.

Now in its third year, the event continues to grow in support, bringing the community together for a cause aimed at improving the lives of young cancer patients and their families.
