Fill a Santa shoebox
The Santa Shoebox Project has opened public pledging for 2019. The project collects and distributes personalised gifts of essential items and treats for underprivileged children throughout South Africa and Namibia. Visit www.santashoebox.org.za pledge your shoeboxes and collect up to four free flat-packed shoeboxes from any of the 50 Stor-Age stores nationwide. Donors are also asked to include a reusable bag in which the child can carry the shoebox home.Â
Remembrance service
St Luke’s Hospice West Coast is having a service in remembrance of loved ones who have passed away. The service takes place on Saturday October 26 at 2pm at 1 Hof Street, Table View. To RSVP, call the hospice office at 021 557 8925.
Book sale
The Milnerton library in Pienaar Road is having a book sale on Saturday October 5 from 9:30am to noon. There will also be DVDs and CDs on sale. Donations of books are needed. For more information call 021 444 0815.
