Ruan Louw, 16, from Elkanah House, who trains at Combat Jiujitsu Academy, participated in a mixed-martial arts competition in America during the holidays. He was a runner-up in a novice/ beginner/ intermediate division for 16 to 17 years olds, came first in a grappling division and won his title fight.
