Three men linked to smash and grabs on the N7 and Malibongwe Drive have been arrested, say police.
The arrests were made earlier this month after a six-minute clip of drone footage, showing smash-and-grab thieves targeting several cars, circulated widely on social media, said Table View police spokeswoman Captain Adriana Chandler (“N7 smash-and-grab video shocker,” Tabletalk, July 24).
The footage had contributed to the arrests, she said.
