Table View SAPS are looking for three men in connection with a home invasion in Sunningdale.
Table View police are investigating a home invasion that happened in Sunningdale on Monday afternoon.
According to Table View police spokeswoman Captain Adriana Chandler, three masked men entered the home of an elderly woman at 3pm. The men were unarmed, but they tied the women’s hands and feet before taking a cellphone, jewellery, a television and a silver Datsun sedan.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward and call 021 521 3300 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
Table View station commander Colonel Lindiwe Dyantyi said residents should always make sure their doors were locked and their windows closed even when at home.
“Join your local neighbourhood watch and ask for regular patrols, especially if you are elderly. Victim support is offered free of charge by trained volunteers for anyone who has experienced trauma due to crime. Please contact Table View Police station to arrange an appointment,” said Colonel Dyantyi.
