No one must be morally compromised, Julius Malema lays the law for the new Central Command Team

 Economic Freedom Fighters' (EFF) leader Julius Malema, on Sunday, warned against laziness, saying they will not tolerate Central Command Team (CCT) members driven by egoism ahead of the 2026 local government elections.

He said the party wanted to win elections, especially in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).

He said no member should be involved in dodgy dealings and those that would compromise the organisation.

“There’s no commissar who is going to be accused of sexual harassment and abusing women," Malema told members during his closing remarks at the EFF’s national people’s assembly in Soweto 

“There’s no commissar who is going to be knocking on the doors of leaders of the student command in an attempt to impose themselves on young children,” Malema emphasised that a CCT member must be disciplined.

He maintained that members should do things that will embarrass the organisation.

Malema said that victory was certain in 2026, and they needed to go out there to gather votes.

Malema was among the newly elected top six leaders of the EFF.

Godrich Gardee was elected as deputy president replacing Floyd Shivambu.

In his remarks, Malema made it clear that a CCT member must be an all-rounder who has capacity to organise and mobilise without seeking external assistance.

“From now on, a commissar must be a permanent ground force, defined by humility, and willing to sacrifice everything in service of our struggle,” he said.
