Please can someone tell me why we still “celebrate “ Guy Fawkes’s plot to overthrow King James in 1605 ,which is anarchy?
Yet we do not remember Poppy Sunday on November 5, even at churches I have attended.
It is a simple act to remember the fallen brave from a number of wars, who were fighting for democracy.
Many came from this land of various colours. It seems we would rather salute the anarchists than the “good guys”.
