The City has suspended city-wide refuse collection services and closed all drop-offs today due to violent protest action in various areas.
City staff and vehicles have been targeted by violent protesters in recent weeks.
Residents and businesses, who have their bins emptied on Mondays, are advised to keep their refuse on their property, and await further instruction via the City’s website and social media platforms.
The service is expected to resume by Tuesday July 28.
