Octa supports community initiative with OG Foundation Golf Day sponsorship

As the only sponsor from the investment and trading category, Octa sponsored the challenging par 5 13th hole at the OG Molefe Foundation Golf Day held at the Blair Athol Golf Course in Lanseria, Johannesburg.

Global financial broker Octa was one of the sponsors of the OG Molefe Foundation Golf Day held at the Blair Athol Golf Course in Lanseria, Johannesburg. The event brought together prominent personalities, sporting legends and business leaders to raise funds for the foundation.

The OG Molefe Foundation, founded in 2018, provides mentoring programmes in the form of education and sport for children, who come from disadvantaged communities. The organisation leverages golf as a platform to teach life lessons, discipline and teamwork to the youth. To date, the foundation has introduced more than 100 children to the sport, supporting an amateur’s transition to professional golf and helping others compete in junior tournaments across the continent.

The event brought together prominent personalities, sporting legends and business leaders to raise funds for the foundation.

As the only sponsor from the investment and trading category, Octa sponsored the 13th hole – a challenging par 5 that featured a Longest Drive of the Day competition. Representatives from Octa were present to hand out refreshments and prizes to participants.
