A woman, aged 42, was shot and killed when three men burst into her home in Gousblom Street, Dunoon, on Thursday March 9.
According to Captain Adriana Chandler, SAPS communication officer, at about 10.30 that night, the woman and two friends returned to her home and soon after they arrived, were surprised by three unknown male suspects.
One of the men was armed with a gun and fired six shots at the victim, hitting her in her upper body. The men demanded cash, which was thrown in their direction and they then fled the scene.
The woman was rushed to hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
Milnerton police has asked the community to come forward with any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects.
