Dealers profit from the suffering of families, and many of our children are trapped in a cycle of drug addiction.
They steal, cause chaos, and become unpredictable; some even resort to violence, inflicting immense pain on their families. In this situation, both the perpetrator and the victim are ensnared by addiction.
It’s heartbreaking to witness what is happening in our community, yet it seems that no one is taking action—only talking. If there is anyone to blame, it is us for allowing drugs to rule in Ottery.
The government is doing nothing, and we cannot rely on politicians. We have become complacent, and living with drugs has become the norm.
No mother gave birth to a gangster or a drug addict.
Until there is unity among us, we cannot succeed in cleaning up our community. We need to be the watchmen on the walls of Ottery.
Evil thrives because good people do nothing.
