Avendale beat Normies Magic in softball third division action
In the Cape Town Softball Association’s Women’s Third Division, Avendale Softball Club triumphed over Normies Magic with a 13-9 victory.
Avendale Ladies Softball’s coach, Lindy Arendse said it was a tough game against a young Normies side, however, they were fortunate to walk away with the win.
“For our team, we take it every game as it comes. The ladies play hard and they like to win. But you know what, it doesn’t mean that every week is your week, but we keep going,” said Arendse.
“We wish the team well and we wish all the teams in our division well going further into the season,” said Arendse.
On Saturday February 1, Avendale’s second division team will take on the Panthers, at 5pm, at Turfhall.
