David Scales as Uncle Rex and Jean-Marie Schoots as Ivy will be the lead actors in Live with Ivy at the Milnerton Playhouse. Written by Nicholas Ellenbogen and directed by David Scales, the story starts in 1950s Nyasaland (now Malawi) before it leaps to London’s West End in the 1980s. The Garrick family have been in the theatre for 200 years, but things are changing, and young Ivy must make a choice between law and the stage. Tickets cost R90.
