Blankets bring warmth to those in need

The CRC Church Cape Town branch and non-profit TLC Outreach Projects in Table View are appealing for donations of new or gently used blankets to support their winter blanket drive and help those in need stay warm.
On Saturday, June 21, church members and representatives from TLC Outreach Projects, including founder Colleen Pietersen, took part in a fun run at Ons Huisie in Bloubergstrand.
Instead of bringing cash donations, the teams collected blankets to distribute to the homeless, people living in informal settlements, and others in need of warmth this winter.
