Primary schools athletes battle for spot at national champs

Budding track and field athletes from across the city braved scorching temperatures at the Western Cape Primary Schools championships, at Dal Josafat Stadium, in Paarl, at the weekend. The competition saw runners representing Western Province (Cape Metropole), Boland and Eden District battle it out for a spot at the upcoming national championships.
