Nic Laubscher, trained by Angelo Addinall at PFC Gym in Bothasig, is one of those youngsters who doesn't shy away from action.
Over the weekend, during the Rising Stars promotion, the promising martial artist was once again in his usual explosive form when he took on Jiyaad Diedricks in a three-round boxing bout for the Rising Stars title.
Unfortunately, this time, the split decision, one that could have gone either way, didn’t go in his favor.

His bout against Diedricks was one of the most entertaining fights of the night, hosted by Vibrant and Fighterz Inc.
His clubmates, Jaydin Clark and Luke Brazier, were able to come away with wins for the Bothasig-based gym.
The Rising Stars promotion is quickly building a reputation as a key platform for young, hungry fighters looking to make a name for themselves and gain valuable experience on the road to long, successful careers in martial arts.
